What we do?

Gardening

The gaart is a garden in which we grow edible plants.

We implement crop rotation in the different beds. We have a nursery, a greenhouse and two composting areas. We learn about plant associations in order to limit parasites invasion. The spot we are using only allows us to do off-ground culture.

If you want to meet the team or give a hand in a punctual way, simply join us on Thusdays from 12.30 during our Thursdays noon gardening! We would be happy to exchange with you, and if you want, you can get your hands dirty with us 😉

Workshops

We are all learning and/or want to share knowledge. This happens on a daily basis while taking care of the garden. Sometimes we need a bit more organisation and decide to organise workshops ^^

  • Garden planning (crop rotation, calendar, …)
  • Composting (traditional open compost, vermicompost)
  • Building elements (beds, greenhouse, …)

Members can register in priority to the workshops. If seats remain available, they are open to the general public (communication through the newsletter and our FB page).

When external people are in charge of the workshop (and have a cost for the association), it remains for free for the members and can be open to non-members if places remain available (for free or with a small contribution).

Screenings

We organise screenings of movies and documentaries in Belval followed by discussions. The objective is to raise awareness on different topics related to transition and ecology.

We welcome suggestions of screenings 🙂 simply contact us to share your idea(s)!
